History
Stone & Oak was born from our desire to connect the community. Starting in 2010 with Stonehouse Catering, our team longed to create a space where we could engage with people more regularly. First Fridays became our first step — a place where our local following kept asking for more.
That encouragement inspired us to build something lasting. Stone & Oak was thoughtfully designed as a place to unwind and enjoy high-end food and beverage in a refined, relaxing atmosphere — a unique experience for adults looking to reconnect and savor the moment.

OUR TEAM
Lisa Stonehouse is the Founding Owner of Stonehouse Catering. Born and raised in New Jersey, she started making family dinners at a young age. She loves redefining classic recipes with new and interesting twists. She’s committed to using fresh ingredients and reinventing menus to keep the creative juices going.
Her passion for loving people alongside her creative, teachable and entrepreneurial spirit led her to start her own catering business out of her Shoreview, Minnesota home kitchen in 2010. Since then, she has gone on to purchase, renovate and open her own commercial kitchen and private supper club in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
Lisa has three daughters, one furry canine beast, a cat and has fun spending time with friends discussing how to solve the world’s problems in three simple steps.

ADAM JOHNSON | Executive Chef
Adam Johnson is Executive Chef and Part-Owner of Stonehouse Catering. Born and raised in East St. Paul, Adam graduated LeCordon Bleu in 2005. He went on to work at Kincaid’s Steak House, opening Public Kitchen in 2015 and working as private chef for the Polad family in their Target Field Suite. He joined the Stonehouse Staff in 2018 as a private chef and was appointed as executive chef in 2019.
Adam’s hard work, creativity and personality in the kitchen has built a reputable staff culture. His award-winning entrees and continued accomplishments make Stonehouse Catering, “as excellent as any high end restaurant”. An artist at heart, Adam engages the senses and does not disappoint with his impeccable flavor composition and use of fresh ingredients.
Adam brings laughter and music trivia to the kitchen with his bad jokes and eclectic musical taste. Better call before you stop in to see him - he might be out on the disc golf course with his dog, Poncho, and his PDGA buddies.
